Home Care Heroes can work with self-managed Home Care Package providers to deliver support that complements their service provision.
Your Home Care Package provider will act as an intermediary invoice manager, i.e. they will need to arrange payment of HCH invoices.
Home Care Packages - Management Types
HCP can be managed 2 ways - Self and Case Managed.
Self-managed consumers can currently choose:
- their provider and whether they wish to change providers at any stage;
- how they want to spend their funds, in a manner significantly more flexible than the NDIS as the money is not allocated to specified areas;
- who and when services are delivered.
